General Provisions and Guidelines
- Winning institutions are not eligible to compete for the award in the following cycle after their win.
- Institutions that have not won in previous cycles may apply again in subsequent cycles.
- All information obtained by the award’s secretariat through the evaluation and supervision processes is confidential between the award and the institution.
- The Marketing and Media Committee will notify or convey any information related to the award to the institution via official email, which is considered formal notification.
- The official email of the institution’s coordinator with the award is considered the authorized email.
- The award may withhold the prize for one or more categories based on the recommendation of the award’s secretariat and a decision by the Board of Trustees if there are sufficient reasons to do so.
- The judging, evaluation, and screening committees are selected independently and must ensure there is no conflict of interest, with strict confidentiality observed regarding all submitted materials.
- Institutions are not allowed to contract with any member of the award’s evaluation team for consultancy or other services for two years from the date of evaluation.
- Participation fees, whether mandatory or optional, are non-refundable, and participating entities have no right to demand a refund after payment.
- The award has the right to conduct studies on the impact of the award and apply the award model to the winning institutions.
- The Higher Committee has the right to adjust the award’s timeline.
The official language for all data and evaluations is Arabic.
Application Conditions
- Application for this award is available to all charitable and non-profit entities in the geographical area of Al-Ahsa Governorate.
- All nominations must be submitted through the official website.
- Applications must be submitted in Arabic.
- The Al-Ahsa Excellence Award Administration reserves the right to verify the accuracy of nominations and the identity of applicants and to exclude any nomination that does not meet the conditions and terms.
- At least 50% of the main and sub-criteria must be met, and required documents must be attached. The award has the right to exclude those who do not meet the minimum requirement.
- The work must be characterized by diligence and excellence.
- There should be no penalties, sanctions, or warnings issued against the work.
- The institution must adhere to the timeline set by the award and submit evidence and documents before the deadline for each phase.
- Winning institutions are required to wait three years before reapplying for the award.
- The decisions of the judging committees are final, based on the criteria and conditions specified for each category.
- The institution must designate a contact person for the award, who will be given access to upload evidence and indicators.
- The award reserves the right to utilize the submitted works for marketing purposes.
- The institution must cooperate with the evaluation team in conducting field visits during the evaluation process according to the schedule sent by the award.
- Participation fees must be paid on time.

About the Award
The Al-Ahsa Excellence Award aims to honor and motivate distinguished individuals in the Al-Ahsa Governorate. It is one of the initiatives of the Institutional Excellence Association in Al-Ahsa, launched under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the award. The award seeks to achieve excellence both at the institutional and individual levels, meeting the expectations of the Al-Ahsa community.
