7About the Award
- A non-winning nominee from one award cycle may submit a new application for the next cycle.
- All information obtained by the award’s secretariat through evaluation and oversight processes is confidential between the award and the nominee.
- The Marketing and Media Committee will notify or communicate any information intended for the nominee regarding the award via official email, and this is considered formal notification.
- The official email address of the nominee is considered the approved means of communication. The award may withhold awards from one or more categories based on the secretariat’s recommendation and the Board of Trustees’ decision if there are sufficient reasons for withholding.
- The judging, evaluation, and screening committees are selected independently and must ensure there is no conflict of interest, maintaining complete confidentiality regarding all submitted materials.
- The award has the right to conduct studies on the impact of the award and apply the award model to winning nominees.
- The High Committee has the right to amend the award cycle schedule.
- The official language for all data and evaluations is Arabic
- Voluntary Work Award
An award granted to individuals who strive to provide the best and most distinguished voluntary work. - Productive Families Award
An award given in recognition of the achievements of productive families and their notable social role in serving the community of Al-Ahsa. - Distinguished Economist Award
An award granted in recognition of the achievements of individuals who excel in promoting economic development in the province. - Agriculture and Food Production Award
An award given in recognition of the achievements of individuals in the field of agriculture in the province. - Scientific Research Award
An award given in recognition of the achievements of individuals in the field of scientific research. - Culture and Arts Award
An award given in recognition of the achievements of individuals in culture and the arts. - Sports Activity Award
An award given in recognition of the achievements of individuals in sports activities. - Any other categories approved by the Board of Trustees in each cycle.
- The award is open to all individuals within the geographical scope of Al-Ahsa Governorate.
- All nominations must be submitted through the website.
- Applications must be in Arabic.
- The nominee must have an impact on the community within the governorate.
- The nominee can apply in only one category of the award.
- The winner cannot apply for the same category they won in until after two award cycles from the date of receiving the award.
- The winner can apply in the next award cycle for any categories they have not previously won.
- At least 50% of the main and sub-criteria must be met, and documents must be attached. The award reserves the right to disqualify those who do not meet the minimum requirements.
- The nominee must have a good reputation, considering the following points: a. They should not have a judicial ruling against them that undermines honor and integrity unless they have had their status restored. b. They should not be involved in riots, violence, or conspiracies and terrorism, or incite these actions or commit them. c. They should not have any activities that conflict with the state’s laws and official policies or undermine the public interest.
- The nominee must adhere to the timeline set by the award administration and submit evidence and documentation before the deadlines for each stage.
- The decisions of the judging committees are final, based on the criteria and conditions set for each category. The nominee is granted access to perform necessary actions and submit evidence and indicators.
- The award reserves the right to utilize submitted work for promotional purposes.

The Al-Ahsa Excellence Award works to encourage outstanding work and individual efforts, based on Islamic principles of professionalism and work excellence, and to showcase the human cultural creativity of Al-Ahsa. It aims to encourage progress and development, elevate performance and quality standards, and develop human resources in the governorate.
The Al-Ahsa Excellence Award is aimed at honoring and motivating distinguished individuals in the Al-Ahsa Governorate. It is one of the initiatives of the Institutional Excellence Association in Al-Ahsa, established under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa and Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees. The award seeks to achieve excellence both at the institutional and individual levels in a manner that meets the expectations of the Al-Ahsa community.
